About EWA Natural Experiences

We are dedicated to creating authentic, safe, and meaningful nature experiences in the state of Oaxaca, Mexico. We design experiences that connect people with the rock, the landscape, and the local culture.

Rock Climbing

San Sebastián Tutla

An accessible area, perfect for those who are just starting to climb or looking for an experience close to the city. Impressive rock formations and spectacular views.

Price: $1,550 MXN

La Meca

A moderate-difficulty hike, with overhangs that challenge the body and a calmness that clears the mind. Ideal for more experienced climbers looking for a challenge and a connection with nature.

Price: $1,650 MXN

Yagul

Climbing surrounded by history and archaeology. Technical routes in a unique natural setting, near the archaeological zone. An experience that combines adventure and culture.

Price: $1,750 MXN

Booking Requirements

Deposit

$300 MXN per person to confirm your reservation. The remaining payment is made on the day of the experience.

Book in Advance

A minimum of 2 days in advance is required to book the outing.

Medical Insurance

It is essential to have valid medical expense insurance throughout the entire experience.

What Does the Experience Include?

We take care of all the details so you can focus on enjoying yourself. Each outing includes everything you need for a complete and safe experience.

Professionals with extensive experience who ensure your safety and accompany you every step of the adventure.

Transportation

Round-trip transfer from your hotel in downtown Oaxaca to the climbing area.

Snack and Drink

An energy snack and beverage to keep you hydrated throughout the day.

Access Fees

Entry to the climbing area and route-setting fee included.

Complete Gear

All the technical climbing equipment you need: harness, helmet, rope, shoes, carabiners, and more.

Experience Itinerary

Pickup

We will pick you up at your hotel or hostel in the center of Oaxaca City. Meet your guides and the rest of the group.

Transfer

Travel to the climbing area. During the journey, the guides will share information about the location.

Walk

Hike on foot to the rock wall. An opportunity to connect with the natural surroundings.

Warm-Up

Physical preparation exercises and an introduction to basic climbing and safety techniques.

Climbing

The main moment! Rock climbing with constant supervision from certified guides.

Return

Transfer back to your hotel or hostel. A moment to share the experience.

Comfortable backpack

To carry your personal belongings during the hike and climb.

Athletic shoes

Closed-toe sneakers with good grip for walking on uneven terrain.

Comfortable clothing

Sportswear that allows freedom of movement.

Sweatshirt or jacket

For temperature changes, especially in the morning or evening.

Cap or hat

Protection from the sun during the day.

Sunscreen

Essential for protecting your skin from sun exposure.

Insect repellent

To keep you protected from insects in natural areas.

Extra water

Although we include drinks, we recommend bringing your own bottle.

Who are we?

Fabián López

I have been climbing for more than 20 years, teaching for 12, and guiding for 10. I have had the opportunity to get to know and climb in some of the best areas in Mexico and around the world. I love climbing because it has transformed my life, and sharing that passion with others is what inspires me the most.

Regina Ramírez

In climbing, I have found a way to challenge my limits, strengthen my body, and completely disconnect. One of the things I enjoy most is the natural places that climbing takes you to and sharing them with other people.
